About the Artist
Rob Raphael (b. 1978) received his MFA from Cranbrook Academy or Art and his BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. He has had solo and two-person exhibitions at LMAK Gallery (NY), the Bronx Museum of the Arts (NY), Calico Gallery (NY), Greenwich House Pottery (NY), and the Clay Studio (PA). Selected residencies include the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft (TX), Civitella Ranieri (Italy), Zentrum For Keramik (Germany), The Shigaraki Ceramic Sculpture Park (Japan), International Ceramic Research Center (Denmark), and Watershed Center for Ceramic Art (ME). The artist lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
