Lab Grant Residency
“Your mind is so alive when you’re there. There are a lot of things that were very inspiring in terms of thinking about paper and fiber that I had no idea that I would come to ... We’re fully focused on this one special process that you can’t do anywhere else.”
Founded in 2000, the Dieu Donné Lab Grant Residency is a year-long program designed to provide mid-career and established artists with the opportunity to work in-depth in hand papermaking. Awarded by invitation only, artists from a wide range of creative backgrounds collaborate with Dieu Donné master papermakers to explore the vast potential of papermaking through experimentation and innovation.
