About the Artist


Patricia Ayres (b. New York), attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture 2019; received an MFA from Hunter College, 2019; BFA from Brooklyn College and an A.A.S in Fashion Design from The Fashion Institute of Technology. Her work has been exhibited at The Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara; Matthew Brown Gallery, Los Angeles; Felix Art Fair; Liste Art Fair Basel, Switzerland; Workplace Gallery, London; Office Baroque, Antwerp; Analog Diary Gallery, Beacon; Fragment Gallery, Moscow; Koenig & Clinton Gallery, New York; Kornfeld Gallery, Berlin and The Bronx Council on the Arts: Longwood Gallery at Hostos Community College of The City University of New York. She was an artist-in-residence at Storm King Sculpture Park:Shandakan; Sharpe-Walentas Studio Program; Fountainhead Residency, Miami; The Studios at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art; Lower Manhattan Cultural Center; a nominee for the Rema Hort Mann Foundation Emerging Artist Grant; a recipient of the NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship in Sculpture. Ayres is currently an artist-in-residence at Dieu Donné. Her work is currently on view at the de la Cruz Collection and The Rubell Museum in Miami, The Bunker Artspace in West Palm Beach, Fl., and Mendes Wood DM, São Paulo.
