Lab Grant Residency
Your mind is so alive when you’re there. There are a lot of things that were very inspiring in terms of thinking about paper and fiber that I had no idea that I would come to ... We’re fully focused on this one special process that you can’t do anywhere else.
The Lab Grant Program is a residency program designed to provide mid-career artists from all working practices with the opportunity to work in-depth in hand papermaking to produce landmark work in the medium. Artists drawn from all working practices are awarded this residency through a selection process, and are invited to work collaboratively with master papermakers, exploring a new medium at a juncture when working rituals and art making practices have been established.
